Brad Bond and his company built my custom ICF “Dream Home” starting just after Thanksgiving in 2018 through the end of January of 2020, it took about 14 months. Brad was not only my general contractor, but became my good friend and trusted advisor through the experience. With Brad in charge, building the house was as stress-free as home building can ever be. He told me to expect issues and problems along the way, but that solving them was his job. He and his team certainly did take care of the various “bumps in the road” on the way to completion. My home is in a remote area with which Brad was unfamiliar at first, but he managed to find all the necessary subcontractors, equipment, material suppliers and extra labor when needed, and all performed flawlessly under his leadership. He commands respect from everyone (including me) and always strived for perfection, pushing the men (and ladies) to be their best.

In addition to the duties of being the GC, Brad pointed out flaws in the architect’s design and corrected them before the construction process would have made it impossible to go back without incurring tremendous expense. He also has an uncanny way of creating a budget which is almost accurate to the nearest dollar. The only cost overruns I incurred we due to my requesting additional items and changes that I wanted included, and his estimates on the changes were equally accurate. He also saved me money by suggesting alternative materials of equal quality which satisfied my requests and my vision. When I first decided to build a custom ICF home, I was listening to my friends who all told me what a horrible experience building a custom home is. They said that GCs are always finding ways to cut corners to make extra money at the home owner’s expense. That’s why I was absolutely thrilled when I found Brad and his company who from the beginning to end worked tirelessly to make sure my “Dream Home” was everything I wanted it to be and that the process was as smooth as possible. He went above and beyond to give me everything I wanted and paid for.

I highly recommend Brad and his company to anyone who wants to build a custom ICF home. If I ever wanted to build another home or office for my practice, I wouldn’t think of using anyone else to do the job!
